Kenyan Youth Comes with new innovation
It is always hard in Kenya for graduated youths to find jobs they studied in the respective field. This has made most of Kenyan youths to join different crimes like the terrorism sectors, they end up becoming drug peddlers and even gangsters.
Lack of unemployment has really affected the economy leaving more and more graduates behind closed doors of employment.
But it is always a different story to some Kenyan youths who instead of waiting to knock the job office, they used the experience they have to build themselves.
Just when one thinks that Kenyan youths have lost their directions in the creative innovation sector, one creative Kenyan youth by the name OKONU Douglas have not lost it.
Douglas Okonu designs and makes a Body Camera System which is a viral equipment required to ensure total security in the Security sector.
According to Douglas, the system comes fully built with an audio, transmitter, camera with very high pixels, and the ability to transmit real time events to a controlled room for analysis.
The Kenyan government has been so lucky to have creative youths in the technology industry but their support to these youths is either minimal or limited.
If the government could just put all its tools down and support the Kenyan youths in the creative industry, Kenya As a country could have seen a massive growth in the sector.
It could have been buying locally made products to increase the production rate within the country instead of importing expensive machines which ends up building another countries economy while theirs lacks behind.
The government should show fully support to the Kenyan youths in the creative industry like Douglas OKONU. By doing that Kenya will enhance in technology.
Let’s not forget a few months ago there were also some groups of youths who built a self controlled robot hand to help those with hand disability, new tech innovation but lack of support. The government should quickly act up on these innovation areas.
